Some things in life shouldn't be negotiable. When it comes to recycling services, actual landfill diversion is one of those things. After all, what good is "lowest-possible cost" or "friendliest service" or "locally-owned" if the materials being collected aren't actually being recycled?
Sadly, we don't have to look beyond North Texas to find examples of unscrupulous dealings by "leading recyclers" on shockingly large scales.
In an industry of "waste" brokers, "trash" removal services, "junk" haulers, and "garbage" companies, RR is unique in that we are non-landfill. You have our word that we'll do everything in our power to ensure that the resources trusted to us end up in the hands of responsible processors and manufacturers--and out of local landfills.
We see being responsible as a matter of course. We hope that gives you peace of mind.

Translation: we're flexible, communicative, and resourceful, and (most importantly) we value your business.
Our staff is small, our level of service is high, and our values are alive and well. We're not so large that we've forgotten who we are, why we're here, or what makes us successful. We're passionate about helping our Clients because that's our job and we're passionate about our jobs (see Reason #10).

#5 Our Contracts Are The Best In The Business
We'll keep this one short and sweet. In an industry in which 3- and 5-year Service Agreements reign supreme, our standard Agreement--1 page (front & back), 1 year, with an option to increase or decrease service at any time, and the friendliest "termination clause" in the business--is a breath of fresh air.
Contracts are important in our line of work. We just don't think they should be used to lock you into working with us. (That's what great service is for!)
#6 We’re Recognized Leaders in Our Industry
There are no two ways about it: as a company, we're not nearly as outstanding at self-promotion as we are at providing service to businesses that care. (Seen our social media pages lately? Neither have we.)

Have we mentioned our friendly and reliable service yet? RR came of age during the peak of the Great Recession, a monumental challenge that taught us the true value of friendly, reliable, and responsive service.
While countless others in the recycling industry shut their doors (and encouraged us to do the same), we pushed forward into the marketplace by providing outstanding, comprehensive service to businesses that cared about the environment as much as we did.
That client-first approach still permeates absolutely everything we do. From our drivers to our customer service to the President herself, we're confident you'll love our service because that's what we strive for. In the (unthinkable!) event that we ever let you down, you're always free to take your business elsewhere (see Reason #5).
#8 We’ve Been Doing This For A Long Time
We're not exaggerating when we say that RR has been recycling since back when landfilling was cool. (In fact, if you go by numbers alone, landfilling still IS cool). In 2008, the residential recycling rate in Dallas was less than 10%; today, it's close to 90%.
We were the first recycling company in North Texas (and among the first in the U.S.) to provide ongoing recycling services to small businesses, apartments, and condos in our community, and the first to collect post-consumer food waste for the purposes of composting.
In March 2018, we celebrated our 10th anniversary. It's been an epic journey thus far. Here's to another decade of leading the way.
#9 We Have The Credentials
Credentials aren't exciting, but they're important and we have them. RR is a permitted clean Materials Recovery Facility (M.R.F.) in the city of Dallas, and we're a registered commercial carrier with the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDoT). We carry full insurance (call us for the exact amount) and our drivers undergo random drug testing.
We periodically audit local processors that receive our recyclables, and send all obsolete electronics only to certified E-Steward facilities.

Forget about the 9 reasons above. The truth is that RR is a different kind of company, and we like to think our Clients feel that. We're passionate! (Can you feel it?)
